The Outstanding Documents feature ensures you stay compliant by highlighting paperwork that requires your signature or acknowledgement directly on your dashboard. Instead of searching through your profile, you can now view a live count of pending documents the moment you log in to the Workzone or Keypay app.
This article shows you how to manage the following:
- View pending documents on the dashboard
- Navigate to document signing screens
- Synchronize document counts between mobile and web
View pending documents on the dashboard
The platform displays reminders differently based on your access level to ensure they fit into your daily workflow.
- Log in to the Workzone or Keypay mobile app.
- Check your Home Dashboard for the Documents card:
- As an Employee: Look for a standalone reminder card located above the Employee Perks section.
- As a Manager: Look for the Documents entry nested within your To Do list.
- Review the numerical count on the card, which indicates exactly how many documents require your attention.
Helpful Hint
For managers, the total item count shown at the top of your To Do list automatically includes the number of outstanding documents, giving you a complete view of your pending tasks in one place.
Navigate to document signing screens
- Tap the Documents reminder card on your Home Dashboard.
- Wait for the app to redirect you to the Other Documents section within your Employee Profile.
- Select a document to sign or acknowledge it.
- Tap the Back button to return to your Home Dashboard.
Automatic Updates
Once you finish actioning a document, the count on your dashboard updates automatically. If you complete your last pending document, the reminder card will disappear from your Home Dashboard entirely.
Synchronize document counts between mobile and web
The platform ensures that your progress is reflected whether you use the mobile app or the Payroll web platform.
- Perform a pull-to-refresh gesture on your mobile Home Dashboard.
- Confirm the count has updated to reflect actions taken on the web platform.
Note: If an administrator removes a document requirement for you via the web platform, this change will also be reflected in your app count after you refresh the dashboard.
