Set up candidate communication feature as an admin

Available for the following HR plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum
Available for the following user access level: Admin    

A recruitment module helps companies organise candidates for hiring and recruitment purposes. These systems allow businesses to collect information, organise prospects based on experience and skill set, and filter applicants.

There are many benefits of using such a module, and you can expect to see metrics like time, cost, and candidate quality improvements. You can use this feature to email candidates from within the Recruitment module without having to connect your HR platform to a Microsoft Outlook account.

Getting started

Set up candidate communication
  1. Click the  Recruitment menu.
  2. Click the Candidates tab.
  3. Click the  button.
  4. Click the Open Candidate Profile button.

Daily activities

Send an email to a candidate
  1. Click the  Recruitment menu.
  2. Click the Candidates tab.
  3. Click the  button.
  4. Click the Open Candidate Profile button.

  6. Complete the following fields:
    • Subject.
    • Message.

    Helpful Hint

    You can choose from the following formatting options:

    •   (Bold).
    •   (Italics).
    •   (Underline).
    •   (Dot Point List).
    •   (Number List).
    •   (Attachments).
    •   (Variables).

    Not sure what to write? If you are on our Platinum HR Plan you can type a few points in, then click   to have our AI help you generate a draft message. You will be able to refine the draft as you need before submitting.

  7. Click the Send Email button.

Read a candidate email 
  1. Click the  Recruitment menu.
  2. Click the Candidates tab.
  3. Click the  button.
  4. Click the Open Candidate Profile button.

    Helpful Hint

    Below the candidate profile you will see the activity stream. All messages you receive from the candidate will appear in this section.

Removing data

Disconnect candidate communication

If you want to change your mode of communication and switch to the Microsoft Outlook integration, you will need to disconnect from your current integration.

  1. Click the  Recruitment menu.
  2. Click the Candidates tab.
  3. Click the  button.
  4. Click the Open Candidate Profile button.
