During setup, your platform will be in setup mode. When setup mode is on, email notifications usually generated from the platform will not be sent.
You have the flexibility to toggle setup mode on and off at any time via System Setup in your settings menu.
Search for a settings feature
Use the search bar
- Log in to Employment Hero.
- On the left-hand side navigation menu, click on Settings.
- In the search bar, type in the setting you wish to find.
- The results will appear in the drop-down menu.
Set up Company Details
In-Platform Onboarding Tools
- Click Settings.
- Under Security & Access Control, click System Setup.
- Toggle settings to suit your preference:
- Setup Mode: restricts notifications from being sent to employees during set up (recommended)
- Setup Dashboard: a dashboard widget highlighting core onboarding tasks (optional, should only be used for standalone HR platform setup).
Company Details
- Click Settings.
- Under Company, click Company Details.
- Review and update details as required.
- Repeat for Primary Contacts and Employment Details.
