Employers can use Recognition Management to give kudos to staff members for going above and beyond their job description. Employment Hero pairs each commendation with one of the business's values, allowing employers to not only reward their employees but also to spread awareness of the company's ideals.
Note
Hero Points are not available for New Zealand (NZ) organisations.
To use this feature, administrators must first configure the settings, and then they can either accept or reject each suggestion. Once a recognition is approved, a certificate can be downloaded and shared with the wider community. These are the main kinds:
Getting started
- Click the Engagement menu.
- Click the Recognition Management submenu.
- Click the View button.
- Click the Approve button.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the Got It button.
- Click the Engagement menu.
- Click the Recognition Management submenu.
- Click the View button.
- Click the Decline button.
- Type in the reason for declining the recognition.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the Got It button.
Maintain
- Click the Engagement menu.
- Click the Recognition Management submenu.
- Use the following fields to customise the report:
- Show terminated employees
- Employee
- Company value
- Date range
- Status
- Click the Filter button.
- Click the Engagement menu.
- Click the Recognition Management submenu.
- Click the Actions button.

Click the View Details button.

You will now see the recognition details displayed on your screen.
Important
You can only download a recognition certificate if its status is APPROVED.
