As an organisation, a core component of your business is your personnel that you may employ either on a casual, part-time, or full-time basis, as well as contractors you engage. The number of personnel in your organisation can change as ongoing projects close out and your business expands or contracts, making personnel management a core component of your organisation.
The Active Personnel Reporting feature allows you to create a report that you can use to analyse what your headcount was at a specific date broken down by their employment type and location. You can also use this feature to download a CSV file of the data, enabling you to load the report into a CSV-supported program like Microsoft Excel.
Getting started
Important
The Headcount Report uses different Start Date fields depending on personnel type:
- For employees, the report uses the Start Date field in the Employment Details feature
- For contractors, it uses the Start Date field in the Job Details feature
This means personnel will not appear in the Headcount Report if they have a future start date.
- Click the Reports menu.
- Click the People tab.
- Click the Headcount Reports box.
- Refine your search based on the following:
- Personnel
- Active Headcount On
- Employment Type
- Contract Type
- Employment Status
- Personnel Type
- Location
- Team
- Entity
- Click the Filter button.
- You can scroll down to see both a graph and a table headcount view.
