Create and download a 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) report on the HR platform

Available for the following HR plans: Premium, Platinum
Available for the following user access level: Admin    

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an essential part of ensuring you stay safe online when using Employment Hero's HR platform. It is therefore important to understand which members of your organisation do and do not have 2FA activated.

This article shows you how to use the 2FA Reporting feature. Learning this will let you generate and download a CSV-supported, Excel-friendly report of each reported employee's two-factor authentication usage.

Getting started

Create a two-factor authentication report
  1. Click the   Reports menu.
  2. Click the Other Reports tab.
  3. Click the 2-Factor Authentication box.

  4. Click the Search/Filter button and enter the following:
     
    • Personnel
    • Teams
    • Status:
      • Enabled
      • Disabled
      • Any
  5. Click the Search button.

Manage data

Download your two-factor authentication report
  1. Click the   Reports menu.
  2. Click the Other Reports tab.
  3. Click the 2-Factor Authentication box.

  4. Click the Search/Filter button.

    Under the Search/Filter button, a form with three fields (called Personnel, Teams, and Status) will now appear.
     
  5. Enter the relevant details in the Personnel and Teams drop-down fields.
  6. Now refer to the Status field and click which one of the three options you want to apply in the report:
    • Enabled (meaning the report will show you who has 2FA enabled)
    • Disabled (meaning the report will show you who does not have 2FA enabled)
    • Any (meaning any status of 2FA – whether enabled or disabled – will be shown in the report)
       
  7. Click the Search button.

    You will now have your downloaded CSV report that covers your employees' Two-Factor Authentication statuses.

FAQ

Am I able to reset my employee's 2FA?
No. You will need to contact our Support team using the in-platform Help function to do this. Our Support team can help start the process to reset an employee's 2FA.
