Employment Hero occasionally releases new features in open beta—this means the feature is functional but still being fine-tuned before it's added to the standard HR platform.

You can choose to try out these features early and help shape their development. However, it’s important to understand how open beta features work before enabling them.

What you need to know about open beta features

  • Not yet part of the core product
Open beta features are still under development. They may be missing polish, functionality, or performance enhancements found in our standard product.

  • Optional participation
You can opt in or out at any time. These features might not meet all your needs just yet.

  • Lower support priority
Bugs or issues with open beta features are reviewed but not treated with the same urgency as standard platform issues.

  • Features may change
These features are in active development and may look or behave differently once officially released.

💡 We welcome your feedback. If you're using a beta feature, let us know what you think—your input helps us improve!

If you use both HR and payroll, this feature will allow you to set up your business so that you can provide your employees access to HR features such as HR documents, Certifications, Policies, and many more, while also having access to features that you were familiar with on WorkZone such as Clocking In/Out with Timesheets, Rostering, Unavailability, Expenses, and Leave article.
