The Employee Time and Attendance Access feature allows you to grant access to a specific employee with the ability to use the Clock Me In app (downloadable for iPad users on Apple's App Store). You can also use this feature to change an employee's assigned kiosk access pin if they have forgotten their original code and revoke access if the employee does not need to use this app anymore.
Getting started
Maintain
- Click the Employee menu.
- Click the List submenu.
- Click on the employee who needs to have their kiosk pin changed.
- Click the Time and Attendance button.
- Click the Change Pin button.
- Complete the following fields:
- New pin.
- Repeat new pin.
- Send [name of the person] notification of the pin change.
- Click the Change Pin button.
Troubleshoot
If an employee is unable to Clock in/out here are some areas to consider:
- If the issue is affecting all employees in the Kiosk then some troubleshooting tips are:
- check that the latest version of Clock me in is being used by assessing if there are any app updates
- check that the iPad is using the latest version of iOS
- log out of the app > uninstall the app > reinstall the app > log in
If the issue is only affecting select users in Kiosk or Work app, then check:
Timesheet settings
- Employee must be on 'Use timesheets to submit of all time worked’ or ‘Use timesheets for exceptions only’.
