Managing Swag Clock in and out settings via the HR platform

Properly managing when employees clock in and out is crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth operations. The Swag clock in and out settings let you change when your employees can clock in and out for a shift, and also manage the notifications that remind employees to clock in and out. This can increase the amount of employees who clock in and out correctly.

Changing Clock in and out settings

Change when employees can clock in and out
  1. From the homepage, click the Time menu.
  2. Click Rostering Management, within the Rosters section.

  3. Click Swag Clock In and Out.

  4. You can change the following settings, as per your requirements:
    • Toggle on/off: Allow employees to clock in/out with shift details.
    • How long before a shift starts an employee can clock in.
    • How long after the shift employees can clock out.
  5. When you have changed the settings, click Save.

Send clock in/out notification reminders to employees
  1. From the homepage, click the Time menu.
  2. Click Rostering Management, within the Rosters section.

  3. Click Swag Clock In and Out.

  4. You can change the following settings, as per your requirements:
    • Toggle on/off: Send employees reminder notifications.
    • Choose when to send the notification if they have not clocked in.
    • Choose when to send the notification if they have not clocked out.
  5. When you have changed the settings, click Save.
