How the learning platform AI chat works

Available for the following plan: Premium, Platinum
Available for the following learning plans: Standard, Plus
Available for the following user access levels: Employee, Manager, Admin

AI Chat serves as your intelligent aide designed to simplify discovering and curating content that aligns with your unique learning goals. You begin by posing a question related to the content you seek. The AI may prompt you for extra information, such as your specific industry. This refines its recommendations further, providing you with a personalised experience.

How AI chat works

Accessing AI chat
  1. Log into Employment Hero. 
  2. On the left-hand side menu, click on Development.
  3. Click on My Learning.
  4. Click on Explore and Enrol, or the Explore button.
  5. Click on Search on the left navigation bar
  6. Click on the AI icon to the right of the search bar
  7. Select the AI icon to open up the chat modal
  8. Begin by posing a question or goal. Chat may prompt you for extra information, such as your specific industry or role aspirations to refine its recommendations and ensure the content recommendations are personalised for you.
  9. AI Chat will then analyse your query, identifying the top skills relevant to your needs. It enables you to:
    • Select multiple skills from the recommendations.
    • View additional skills if necessary.
  10. From the list of results, you can:
    • Click on the recommendation to preview content
    • Share the content via a link.
    • Discard if you are not satisfied with a suggestion (AI chat will generate an alternative for you).
    • Save content to a playlist.
  11. In-chat functionality:
    • Click on More skills (when available) to load additional skill recommendations and it will automatically trigger AI chat to regenerate the response.
    • Click on the thumbs up or down symbols to provide feedback in relation to the AI chat response
    • Click on Clear chat to delete the chat history.

What types of prompts are supported in the Go1 AI chat?
We currently support prompts related to skills identification and content discovery. For skills identification, you can use prompts like "What do new sales managers need to know to build a strong team culture?" or "Tell me how to upskill my customer service agents." For content discovery, you can use prompts like "Show me recommendations for middle management leadership" or "Suggest content for GDPR compliance in the US."
How are you ensuring data privacy and security?
With Azure, OpenAI, customers get the security capabilities of Microsoft Azure while running the same models as OpenAI. Azure OpenAI offers private networking, regional availability, and responsible AI content filtering.
What data is shared with LLMs?
We are only sharing relevant information (if available), like skills and job title. No messages are stored or used for training by Microsoft Azure or OpenAI.
How are you handling personally identifiable information (PII)?
Since we do not ask for any PII information, no PII is being shared with the LLM. Please refrain from providing any sensitive information
