Week 6 2025 Release notes

Core - Security

Enhanced User Sign-In Activity Audit

Release Date: 7 January 2025
Regions: Global
Target Users: All users

To strengthen security and improve response times for potential threats, we have enhanced how user sign-in activity is tracked. The system now records detailed login event logs, including successful and failed login attempts, incorrect password entries, multi-factor authentication (MFA) failures, account lockouts, and password reset attempts. These events are now visible in our security monitoring platform, enabling faster detection and response to suspicious activity. Alerts can also be set up to notify security teams of unusual spikes in failed logins, helping to prevent credential-stuffing attacks before they escalate.

Improved Incident Response with IP Address Filtering

Release Date: 4 February 2025
Regions: Global
Target Users: Information Security SAP Users

We have introduced a new feature that enhances incident response by allowing system events to be filtered by IP address. This update enables security teams to quickly isolate and investigate events originating from potentially malicious IP addresses. By narrowing down search results to specific sources, we can improve the efficiency of threat detection and response, ensuring a more secure environment for all users.

Enhanced Visibility for Talent Marketplace Businesses

Release Date: 6 February 2025
Regions: Global
Target Users: Talent Marketplace users

We have improved the visibility settings in EH Jobs to provide clearer insights into why businesses appear as shown or hidden. A new icon allows users to access a pop-up displaying specific conditions that determine visibility. This enhancement ensures greater transparency for businesses using the Talent Marketplace and helps employers manage their profiles more effectively.

Employment OS

Freeze Date Row for Easier Roster Management

Release Date: 4 February 2025 (Beta)
Regions: Global
Target Users: All customers

Managing large rosters just got easier! Previously, scrolling through a long roster would cause the date row to disappear, making it difficult to keep track of schedules. With this update, the date row now remains fixed at the top of the screen, allowing you to scroll while always keeping the date visible. This small but powerful improvement makes rostering more intuitive and helps teams stay organized.

Pre-Payroll (Time & Attendance)

Work Site and Position Fields in Roster and Lateness Reports

Release Date: 5 February 2025 (Closed Beta)
Regions: Canada (expanding soon)
Target Users: Canadian customers

As part of our ongoing improvements to Time & Attendance, we are introducing Work Site and Position fields into the Roster Report and Lateness Report. When users assign work sites and positions to shifts, this data will now be accurately reflected in reports and CSV exports. Additionally, for businesses that are not connected to payroll, payroll-specific fields will be removed to ensure reporting remains relevant to their setup. This update is the first step in a broader rollout, with more reports set to adopt these enhancements in the near future.

Work Sites and Roster Positions for More Accurate Scheduling

Release Date: 14 November 2024
Regions: Global
Target Users: All Time & Attendance users

We are enhancing rostering by introducing Work Sites and Position-specific management. Previously, any employee could be assigned to any location or role without restrictions. Now, businesses can create Work Sites in settings and assign specific Rostering Positions within them. Each position includes a title, cost center, and a list of employees available to fill the role. This update ensures that only the right employees are scheduled for the right positions, improving accuracy and efficiency for large organizations.

Talent

New Partner Menu for Easy Access

Release Date: 4 February 2025 (Public)
Regions: Global
Target Users: Global users

We are making it easier to find partner-related content with a new dedicated Partners section in the website menu. This update ensures that users can access partner resources regardless of whether they are using the old or new menu system. While the full rollout on our new platform is still in progress, the update is already live on our legacy systems. This improvement enhances visibility and accessibility for our valued partners.

EH Jobs

Improved Job Seeker Profiles with Boost Reminders

Release Date: 6 February 2025
Regions: Global
Target Users: Job Seekers

We are introducing a new Profile Boost feature to help job seekers create more complete and compelling profiles. After submitting a job application, users will see a banner encouraging them to finish setting up their profile. A checklist will outline incomplete sections, allowing users to complete them individually or in a guided flow. A well-completed profile increases the chances of landing job opportunities, and these improvements make it easier than ever to present your best self to employers.
