Frequently asked questions
After seven days, the interview link expires and the candidate can no longer access it. If you wish to continue with their application, you'll need to move them back to the Screening stage and send a new invitation. Consider following up with candidates who haven't completed their interview after 3-4 days to ensure they haven't experienced technical difficulties or missed the email.
No, once a candidate submits a response to a question, they cannot re-record it. This is clearly communicated to candidates in the interview invitation. Encourage candidates to review questions carefully and prepare their thoughts before recording their responses.
We recommend 4-8 questions for most roles. This provides comprehensive candidate evaluation whilst keeping the interview manageable (typically 15-30 minutes to complete). For senior or highly technical roles, you might include up to 10 questions. For entry-level positions, 4-6 questions are usually sufficient.
Yes, the Recruitment Agent can be used for both external and internal job postings. The process is the same regardless of whether you're hiring externally or promoting internally. For internal candidates, the video interview provides a structured way to evaluate readiness for new roles.
The AI evaluates responses based on a generated rubric for each question. It assesses factors such as relevance to the question, depth of response, clarity of communication, and alignment with the job requirements. Click View scorecard on any question to see the specific criteria the AI uses for evaluation. The AI provides both a numerical score and detailed commentary explaining the score.
Include contact information in your interview invitation email so candidates can reach out if they experience technical issues. Common issues include browser compatibility, camera permissions, or internet connectivity. If a candidate cannot complete the interview due to technical problems, you can send them a new invitation link.
