Employment Hero Learning is a Learning Management System (LMS) that helps train employees, orient them to their roles, and expand their knowledge. You can manage the content bundles available to a customer portal through the Partner Hub, or connect the platform directly to Go1 to deliver learning content to your organisation.

This article will show you how to manage the following:

Connect and set up learning

Connect to the learning platform

Helpful Hint

To connect Employment Hero to Go1, you must be an administrator on both platforms. If your organisation has an existing Go1 account, select the Go1 option; otherwise, choose Employment Hero Learning. Connecting to Employment Hero Learning will not send welcome emails to employees, and notifications are off by default, allowing for testing without alerting employees.

  1. In your Employment Hero account, select the Settings menu.
  2. Select the Add-Ons submenu.
  3. Locate the Go1 tile, select the Connect button.
  4. Select the Connect my Existing Go1 portal button.
  5. Log in to your Go1 account.
  6. Once user profiles transfer into the learning platform, you can select the Go to My Learning button to view assigned learning content.

Configure learning settings

Manage learning platform configuration
  1. Select the Settings menu.
  2. Select the Add-ons submenu.
  3. Select the Actions button.
  4. Select the Settings button.
  5. Select the I Accept button. You will see links on your screen to access the learning platform settings, and selecting a link will open that specific setting's location in the learning platform.

Manage content bundles for a portal

Assign content bundles to a customer portal
  1. Select All portals.
  2. Find the customer portal you want to manage.
  3. Select the ellipsis (…) beside the portal.
  4. Select Manage bundle.
  5. Review the available content bundles.
  6. Select the bundles you want to assign to the portal.
  7. Save your changes.

Helpful Hint

Selecting bundles makes their available content accessible to the portal. If no bundles are selected for a portal, the portal will not have access to any content.

Manage individual portal courses

Add or remove specific courses from a portal library
  1. After saving the bundle selection, select Manage content.
  2. Review the courses available from the selected bundles.
  3. Select the checkbox beside a course to add it to the portal’s library.
  4. Clear the checkbox beside a course to remove it from the portal’s library.
  5. Save any changes.

Helpful Hint

Selecting bundles makes content accessible, while using Manage content lets you refine that selection by adding or removing individual courses.

Further information

Do courses within bundles have a set consumption order?

Courses within bundles do not have a set consumption order. Use playlists if learners need to complete resources in sequence.

Review user access levels and permissions for portals

Different user access levels provide specific permissions within customer portals:

  • Admin: Can manage all portal settings, content, users and integrations.
  • Content Admin: Can manage content and users, but not portal settings or integrations.
  • Manager: Can create and manage users, and view learner progress within their team, but cannot access portal settings, content or integrations. However, in Go1 Learn, managers can no longer create or add users to their team.
  • Learner: Can manage their profile and search for, enrol in and complete content.
