If an employee says they are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident during their onboarding workflow, you can check their work eligibility and Visa status through a Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) Check. It allows you to check your employees for work eligibility and is especially useful for businesses who regularly hire employees on working visa
The Work Eligibility Reporting feature allows you to check your employees' work eligibility either individually or in bulk. You can also use this feature to download a CSV file of the data, enabling you to load the report into a CSV-supported program like Microsoft Excel.
Helpful Hint
Contractors are included with Work Eligibility Reports, and can be sorted via the Personnel Type filter.

So you have now run a work eligibility report and you are now wondering what next can I do. There are two recommendations I would make on this front and they are:
- Tax File Number (TFN) declaration lodging and reporting | HR Web Platform This eporting feature allows you to lodge your employees' tax records either in bulk or individually with the Australian Tax Ofice (ATO).
- Policies and induction content reporting | HR Web Platform This feature allows you to report on what documentation your employees have acknowledged and what is still overdue.
