Create a leave taken report

Available for the following HR plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum
Available for the following Payroll plans: Standard, Premium
Available for the following user access level: Admin   

The Leave Taken Reporting feature lets you create a report that you can use to analyse leave requests in a certain time period. You can sort the report by the leave category and status. You can also use this feature to download a CSV file of the data, enabling you to load the report into a CSV-supported program like Microsoft Excel.

Create the leave report

Create a leave-taken report
  1. Click the   Reports menu.
  2. Click the Time tab.
  3. Click the Leave Report submenu.

  4. You will now see the overview page, which displays the Accrued and Leave-Taken graphs.

  5. Click on the bar on the Leave Taken report graph.

  6. Filter your search based on the following:
    • Show terminated personnel.
    • Personnel.
    • Date range.
    • Leave category.
    • Status.
  7. Click the Filter button.

Data management

View an employee's leave request
  1. Click the   Reports menu.
  2. Click the Time tab.
  3. Click the Leave Report submenu.

  4. You will now see the overview page, which displays the Accrued and Leave-Taken graphs.

  5. Click on the bar on the Leave Taken report graph.

    • Show terminated personnel.
    • Personnel.
    • Date range.
    • Leave category.
    • Status.
  7. Click the Filter button.
  8. Click the View button.

Download the leave taken report
  1. Click the   Reports menu.
  2. Click the Time tab.
  3. Click the Leave Report submenu.

  • Hi Mary Ryan, thank you for your comment.

    It is possible that your access level or custom security settings does not allow you to view the Leave Taken Reporting feature. By default, only Admins can view this feature.

    Please check with your organisation's Employment Hero admin if you require access.
