A company's leave calendar offers a centralised view of all employees' leave, that will promote a transparent and collaborative work environment. It also helps prevent unplanned absences from disrupting work and makes sure adequate coverage while employees take time off. Admins can enable the company-wide leave calendar through the Custom Security feature.
You can also view a leave calendar on the dashboard as an admin or manager.
Getting started
Enable the company leave calendar
- Click the Settings menu.
- Click the Custom Security Settings submenu.
- Click the New Security Group button.
- Complete the following fields:
- Group name
- Description
- Set permissions for:
- All employees
- Team
- Employee
- Click the Other Permissions tab.
- Select the Leave Calendar View option.
- Click the Save button.
View the leave calendar on the dashboard
You can view a leave calendar on the dashboard if you are an admin or manager. There is a calendar widget available on the dashboard.
Employees only show on the leave calendar once they have submitted or taken leave in the calendar year.

I have followed the instructions but it doesn't work. No one can see the leave calendar in the desktop version. They can only click on individual days in the Swag app and see if someone is off on that day. Doesn't help at all with planning leave!
