Set up and use 360 reviews as an admin

Available for the following plan: Employment Unlimited
Available for the following HR plan: Platinum
Available for the following User Access level: Admin

The 360 Review Management feature lets you create a 360 review. You can include a self-review, add peer reviewers, and set up questions, which can be free-text or a rating scale type. You can also run reports on the answers and remind people to complete their reviews. When setting up a 360 review, you will have two key groups: the reviewers and the subjects (the one being reviewed). This feedback is always anonymous.

By default, only admins can create 360 reviews. You can give employees permission to request feedback from their peers in a 360 review. See the Allow employees to request 360 feedback section to learn how.

Warning

The period or due date for 360 reviews cannot be changed or extended after you launch the review.

Assign 360 review permissions to managers

Admins can assign 360 review permissions to managers, allowing them to manage 360 reviews for their direct reports or other specified employee groups. This enables managers to view, create, and manage reviews without requiring full admin access.

Grant 360 review permissions to a manager

Important

Managers with 360 review permissions will only be able to access 360 reviews for employees within their assigned employee access scope (e.g., direct reports, teams, or locations). They will not see or manage reviews for employees outside their reporting line.

The 360 Reviews permission supports three access levels:

  • View: Allows the user to view 360 reviews and feedback responses for their assigned employees.
  • Delete: Allows the user to view, delete, and archive 360 reviews for their assigned employees.
  • Use: Allows the user to create new 360 reviews, edit details, and send reminders for their assigned employees. When creating reviews, reviewers can be any employee in the organisation.
  1. Click the Settings menu.
  2. In the Security & Access Control section, click Permissions.
  3. Click the Add Permission button to create a new security group, or click the Actions dropdown and select Edit to modify an existing group.
    Add Permission.jpg

  5. Click Next to continue.
  6. In the Employee Permissions step, locate the 360 Reviews permission.
  7. Select the appropriate access levels for the 360 Reviews permission:
    • View - to allow viewing reviews and feedback
    • Delete - to allow archiving and deleting reviews
    • Use - to allow creating reviews and sending reminders
  8. Complete the remaining steps to review and save your security group.
  9. In the Select Members step, add the managers who should receive these permissions.
  10. Click the Save button to apply the permissions.

Helpful Hint

Managers with 360 review permissions can use existing templates when creating reviews, but they cannot create, edit, or delete templates. Template management remains available to admins only.
