    • Limited to organic users; CSA process remains unchanged.

  • Objective: Improve the process of creating open shifts by automatically resolving conflicts in shift bidding groups.
  • Description:
    • Employees with overlapping shifts will now be automatically excluded from bidding groups, making it easier to create open shifts without manual conflict resolution.

Initiative: Rostering Management UX Improvements - Sticky Filters

  • Objective: Enhance user experience by making roster filter selections "sticky."
  • Description:
    • Filters for Location, Employee, and Roster view will now persist across sessions, page refreshes, and navigation, so users don't need to reapply filters every time they interact with the page.
  • Release Date: 10 December 2024
  • Target users: All EmploymentOS customers.

Initiative: Implement 10-Day Expiry Limit on Candidate Profile URL (Hirer’s Web Experience)

  • Objective: Further enhance security for candidate profile URLs.
  • Description:
    • In addition to the 5-view limit and OTP verification, candidate profile URLs will now automatically expire after 10 days, ensuring that sensitive candidate data is protected regardless of access activity.
  • Release Date: 5 December 2024
  • Target Users: Anyone with access to the public applicant profile URL.

Initiative: Minor 2FA QoL Improvements

  • Objective: Improve user experience for web-based 2FA by reducing password prompts and enhancing security settings.
  • Description:
    • Users will now only need to enter their password once every 10 minutes to view or edit 2FA settings.
    • The 'Change' 2FA method flow has been improved to avoid disabling existing setups when changing methods (e.g., users can switch 2FA methods without losing the current configuration).
  • Release Schedule: Live on production now

Initiative: 52 Week Average Import

  • Objective: Streamline the process of calculating the average hourly rate for holiday pay.
  • Description:
    • Previously, UK payroll users manually calculated the 52-week average by adding up to 104 weeks of data. The new feature allows users to import the data automatically, reducing the time and effort required for this process.
  • Release Date: Today (10 December 2024)
  • Target Users: UK payroll users.

Initiative: Allowing Users to Unlock Completed Back Pay Records

  • Objective: Enable users to adjust or delete back pay records after they’ve been completed.
  • Description:
    • Users can now unlock completed back pay records to make corrections or delete them, rather than having to submit a support ticket. This is particularly useful for testing or making adjustments after processing.
  • Release Date: Today (10 December 2024)
  • Target Users: Australia and NZ Payroll Plus subscribers using the back pay feature.

  • Features:
    • Contractor Management Phase 1: contractor wizard, tax withholding, super contributions, GST calculations, basic reporting.
  • Limitations:
    • No self-setup, portal access, or restricted access for contractors yet.
    • STP/ATO reporting unavailable for contractors.

  • Target Users: Australian Payroll Admins.
