You can monitor the tenure and termination reasons of your employees by building a custom report in Employment Hero. Before being able to use the Custom Reports feature, you will just need to activate Two-Factor Authentication. To read further information on how to activate Two-Factor Authentication, refer to the following article.
You can use the Custom Report feature to construct a report on the tenure and termination options chosen by your employees during their onboarding workflow or when they have edited their personal details.
- Click the Reports menu.
- Click the Other reports tab.
- Click the Custom Report box.
- Click the Create New Report button.
- Enter “tenure report” in the Report name field.
- Enter what this report will cover in the Description field.
- Include or exclude terminated employees in the report.
- Select Create my own from the Report Type drop-down.
- Enter Tenure into the Search field.
- Click the Create button.
- Click the Reports menu.
- Click the Other reports tab.
- Click the Custom Report box.
- Click the Create New Report button.
- Enter “termination Report” in the Report name field.
- Enter what this report will cover in the Description field.
- Include or exclude terminated employees in the report.
- Select Create my own from the Report Type drop-down.
- Enter Termination into the Search field.
- Select from the following termination options:
- Termination
- Termination date
- Termination type
- Termination reason
- Termination comment
- Days since termination
- Months since termination
- Years since termination
- Click the Create button.
Helpful Hint
You can combine the tenure option and the termination options into the same report for a more comprehensive look at the data. These do not need to be separate reports.
