This article provides you with all the information you need to reset and update your password and unlock your Employment Hero platform account. It is intended for users who have been unable to access their Employment Hero account.

Important
If you have not received your reset password email, check that you have entered the correct email address associated with your Employment Hero account. You need to use the email address that you used to sign up for your Employment Hero account to receive your reset password email link.

Helpful Hint
If you cannot see your email invitation to access the HR platform, your employer can resend it. Please make sure to always use the most recent reset password link sent to your email.
- Go to the HR platform sign in page.
- Enter your email address in the email field.
- Click the Next button to reveal the password field and the forgot password button.
- Click the Forgot password? button.
- Complete the I'm not a robot reCAPTCHA checkbox.
- Click the Request Link button.
Warning
The reset password email is a one-time link that only lasts for 72 hours. Make sure you enter the email address associated with your Employment Hero account to receive the reset password link.
- Open your email inbox that you use for your Employment Hero account.
- Open the Reset your Employment Hero password email from no-reply@employmenthero.com.
- In the email, click the Change password link.
- Enter your new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields. We recommend a strong password, using a mix of lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Click the Reset password button.
Important
If you have not received your password reset email, check if you have entered the email address associated with your Employment Hero account. If you are unsure what your account email address is, please contact your manager or platform administrator.
- Log into the HR platform.
- In the top-right corner, click your name on the dashboard.
- In the menu that appears, click the Account Settings button.
- Scroll to the Change Password section of the page.
- Enter the following in the three fields:
- Your current password.
- Your new password.
- Your new password again as confirmation.
Helpful Hint
Employment Hero uses a password strength meter to help you choose your password. We suggest you:
- Use at least eight characters.
- Have at least one uppercase (A-Z) and lowercase character.
- Have at least one numeric character.
- Have at least one special character.
- Avoid dictionary words or a combination of words.
- Click the Submit button.
Important
After 15 incorrect password attempts, the HR platform will lock your account. It will automatically send an email to your linked email account to allow you to unlock your profile.
- Open your email inbox linked to your Employment Hero account.
- Open the Employment Hero Account Unlock Instruction email from no-reply@employmenthero.com.
- Click the Unlock account link.
- Enter your email address associated with the HR platform.
- Click the Next button.
- Enter your password in the password field.
- Click the Log in button.
Important
- If you have previously enabled 2FA, you have to enter the 2FA code to log in.
- If you don't remember your password, you can follow the instructions in the Reset your password section of this article.
FAQs
- You have previously clicked the password rest link.
- You have logged into Employment Hero in another tab or window.
- You clicked on a link that was not the latest password reset link.
You will need to click on Reset Password on the login page again to receive another link.
