Build a tax report

Available for the following plans: Plus, Unlimited HR, Engage, Elite, Unlimited HR+Payroll
Available for the following HR plans: Premium, Platinum
 

The Tax Report is a built-in compliance report that displays the tax file declaration details entered by your employees during their onboarding workflow or updated in their employee file. You can use it to review key information including TFN status, tax residency, HELP/STSL debt, working holiday visa information, and lodgement status.

User Access: Employee Manager Admin

This is the default access level per user and whether they have view, edit and delete access, excluding any changes made via our Custom Security feature.

Summary

The Tax Report is a built-in compliance report found in the Compliance section of your Reports menu. It shows your employees' tax file declaration details, including TFN status, tax residency, HELP/STSL debt, working holiday visa information, and lodgement status. You can also filter the report by employee, employing entity, lodgement status, work location, and group.

Access the Tax Report
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Compliance tab.
  3. Click Tax Report.
  4. Use the available filters to narrow your results by employee, employing entity, lodgement status, work location, or group.
  5. Review the tax file declaration details displayed on screen.

    Helpful Hint

    From the Tax Report, you can also mark declarations as lodged and electronically lodge tax file number declarations (TFND) to the ATO. To learn more about managing report access permissions, refer to the Custom Security article.
