Explanation

The warning shows when the user lodging the event has an invalid email address on the Australian Tax Office (ATO) Settings page. Or a Single Touch Payroll (STP) Pay Event Approver used an invalid email to approve a pay event lodgement. If you have not set up this information correctly, the platform will display the above warning when you go to submit an STP lodgement.

Solution

You will either need to edit the email address used for this user on your ATO Settings page. To read further information on this feature, refer to this article. The other solution is to resubmit your pay event for approval with the correct email address used this time.
