Explanation
This warning shows when your business has not correctly entered your contact name on your Australian Tax Office (ATO) Settings page; i.e., they contain invalid or special characters not allowed by the ATO. If you have not set up this information correctly, the platform will display the above warning when you go to submit a Single Touch Payroll (STP) lodgement.
Solution
You will need to review your ATO Settings page and make sure you have entered a valid contact name under the As an Employer tab. To read further information on this process, refer to this article. You may need to refresh your pay event or update event data for these changes to display on your screen.
