You can now manage all your company-level settings directly in Employment Hero HR. Updates to your company name, address, logo, primary payroll contact, and employing entity details made in HR will automatically sync to Payroll, ensuring your payslips and tax documents always reflect the latest information. This removes the need to update details in two separate systems and reduces the risk of inconsistencies.

Update company details and sync to Payroll
Keep your company name, address, and logo up to date in HR to ensure Payroll records and payslips always show the correct information.
- Log in to Employment Hero as an Admin or Owner.
- Go to Company Settings > Company Details for company name and address, or Settings > Branding for the company logo.
- Edit the company name or address fields as needed, or upload a new company logo.
- Select Save to apply your changes.
- Your updates will automatically sync to Payroll. Future payslips and tax documents will reflect the new details.
- If the sync fails, a clear error message will appear in HR explaining the issue. You can retry after resolving any problems.
- All successful changes are recorded in the audit log, including what was updated and when.
Edit employing entity details
Update your employing entity's legal name and business number directly in HR. These details are mandatory and sync to Payroll to ensure accuracy on payslips and bank files.
- Log in to Employment Hero as an Admin or Owner.
- Go to Company Settings > Employing Entities.
- Select your existing employing entity (adding new entities is not supported for eOS customers).
- Edit the Legal Name and Business Number fields. Both fields are required.
- For UK: Business Number = CRN (Company Registration Number)
- Select Save to sync your changes to Payroll. Payslips and bank files will reflect the updated legal name and business number.
- If you attempt to save without a business number, a validation error will prompt you to enter one before proceeding.
- All changes are recorded in the audit log.
Set or update the primary payroll contact
Set a primary payroll contact in HR so payroll notifications and communications are sent from the correct contact, and employees know who to reach out to.
- Log in to Employment Hero as an Admin or Owner.
- Go to Settings > Company Details.
- Enter the contact name and email address. The phone number is optional.
- If you enter an email address from a restricted domain, a warning will appear and you will need to enter a valid email before you can save.
- Select Save Company Details to sync the contact details to Payroll. The contact email will be used as the sender for payroll notifications to employees.
- Leaving the phone number blank is allowed; the contact will still be saved successfully.
- All changes are recorded in the audit log.
